A semiconductor chip is a device that gives effect to program instructions through a circuity fixed on a semiconductor material in a layered form. Popular examples of such chips are ROMs, RAMS etc. that the form the basis of computer software.
The semi Conductor Integrated Circuits Layout – Design Act, 2000. WHEREAS the Final Act embodying the results of the Uruguay Round of Multilateral Trade Negotiations done at Marrakesh oin the 15th day of April, 1994 provides for establishment of the world Trade Organization; AND WHEREAS the Agreement on Trade Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights is part of the said final Act;
